1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Crown Eggs Limited (herein referred to as “Crown Eggs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are registered in Kenya and operate from Ngata, Nakuru County. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products (Grade 1 Eggs) from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

 

2. Product and Supply

  • Product: We guarantee the supply of Grade 1 Eggs, subject to availability.
  • Production Guarantee: Our daily capacity of 125 trays is managed to ensure consistency, but temporary limitations may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, logistics issues). We will communicate any expected delays immediately.
  • Packaging: Products are delivered in clean, hygienic, and standard packaging (12, 15, 20, or 30 egg trays). Risk of loss or damage passes to the purchaser upon delivery.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing: All prices displayed are in Kenyan Shillings (KSh.) and are subject to change without prior notice, although prices confirmed at the time of order placement will be honored.
  • Payment Gateway: We process secure payments through Pesapal. This includes Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money) and Card Payments. By using Pesapal, you agree to comply with their terms of service.

  • Transparent Pricing: We are committed to transparent pricing. Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed at checkout.

4. Ordering and Delivery

  • Order Confirmation: Orders are confirmed via email once payment is successfully processed through Pesapal.
  • Delivery Area: We provide reliable delivery services to Nakuru, Nairobi, and surrounding areas. Delivery outside these zones may incur additional charges or require special arrangement.
  • Delivery Time: We aim for prompt delivery. Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and ensure someone is available to receive the fresh product. Crown Eggs is not responsible for spoilage due to failed delivery attempts.
  • B2B/Institutional Supply: Contracted clients (Hotels, Schools, Wholesalers) operate under a separate supply agreement outlining specific schedules and volume guarantees.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation

  • Perishable Goods: Given that our products are perishable, returns are generally not accepted.

  • Quality Issues: If you receive cracked or spoiled eggs, you must notify us within [4] hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence. We will assess the claim and may offer a replacement or credit at our discretion.

  • Order Cancellation: Retail orders may be canceled if they have not yet been dispatched for delivery. Institutional orders are governed by the terms of the standing contract.

6. Privacy and Data

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal data collected during registration and checkout (Name, Email, Phone Number, Address) will be used solely for order processing, delivery, and customer service. We will not sell or share your information with third parties, except as necessary for payment processing (Pesapal) and delivery logistics.
